Epoxy Clay

Hi all! Just wanted to show you my latest project. I recently got a great book called Inspired Remnants, Curious Dreams that has tons of great ideas for how to use epoxy clay. I decided to give it a shot and here's the results of my first attempt using it. I have to say I love how flexible the clay is and how well it holds it's shape.

Brooch made from epoxy clay and pewter.

What Inspires Me: Ellicott City

From Main Street, reminiscent of a quaint European village, filled with countless, beautiful antique shops, to the haunting silos and abandoned metal hospital, to the flowing streams and overflowing greenery, it is downright impossible to not be inspired by all that Ellicott City has to offer.

It is my number one place to go when gathering supplies for Dreampop Designs , with such great places to chose from like The Antique Depot, Taylor's Antique Mall , both of which have 3 floors of amazing antique finds at great prices, and the drool-worthy art nouveau items at Retropolitan . Finish the day with a fancy tea brunch at Tea on the Tiber followed by exploring and taking photos of the natural beauty of Ellicott City and that just about describes my perfect day.

And come on, how can you not find a place inspiring where you get to be the work of art!
